CCTB Sunday night update
6-23-24
Hi all,
Thanks to all who participated in the club meeting last week. It was great to see a spirited yet polite conversation with the BLM. Be on the lookout for more meetings like this.
Update for Prime Rib Ride June 29th
The ride is STILL ON. The Menu, however has changed. They will not be able to do Prime Rib this Saturday night. I am bummed out, but that is ok.
Here are the menu options and we don’t need to pre-order. But there is a caveat. They are expecting a large number of guests from the Balloon Fest in Panguitch. To expedite our wait time to the minimum, we get to sort of ‘cut in line’. They will be offering 4 options to get us through the line ‘ahead’ of others when we get there.
Option 1. Stuffed Large baked potato that includes pulled pork, etc. $11.95
Option 2. Rib Plate with baked beans/cole slaw. 3 ribs $18.95, ½ rack 22.95, full 29.95.
Option 3 Large salad with extra ingredients including pulled pork. $11.95
Option 4 BBQ Chicken with baked beans or cole slaw. 1 piece 9.95. 2 piece 12.95
You can still order from the grill (burgers, etc) but will unfortunately have to wait in line with the rest of humanity. You will also need to bring a chair. We will leave Paragonah cemetery at 3pm. Open to all machines and ride levels. Back before dark we hope. Or if you choose, you can bring your own chow or walk over to the gas station and pick up a hotdog off the roller.
July 5th and 6th Paiute Trail Ride. More details on where to park for the 5th and the 6th next week. Open to all machines and ride levels, though there may be a few sections that will make you pay attention a bit more. Also, for 50″ machines, we will be doing a side ride or 2 during both days if you are up to a little more challenge.
August 22nd club catered dinner at Woods Ranch. Dinner at 6pm. Come early for some Cornhole.
Cost is $15 and will need to be paid to Jane by the next club meeting. Please RSVP to her asap. This takes the place of the August club meeting. Also, we wil be doing a potluck dessert so bring your favorite to share.
The Color Country OHV Jamboree is still looking for several more spots to help with the rides. Please consider helping out. Contact Charlie ASAP if you are able to assist. The benefit is that you will get the perks of attending the Jamboree but will not have to pay to attend the Jamboree.
Thank you for all that you do and be safe out there.
